A1. Yes, all of the rooms have private baths.

 

Q2. Does the room come with a full breakfast?  (top)

A2. We provide a breakfast with a hot fruit dish, coffee cake and entrée, plus juice and coffee.

Q4. Are there any good restaurants in town?  (top)

A4. Yes, we have a dozen excellent restaurants in Waxahachie; it depends upon what kind of food you like. (Current Restaurant List)

 

Q5. Do you serve dinner?  (top)

A5. Yes, by reservation only you can reserve the dining room for a private dining experience (Our 7-Course Dinner Menu).

 

Q6. How far are you from Dallas?  (top)

A6. We are 30 miles from downtown Dallas. (Map/Directions)

 

Q7. How long have you been a B&B?  (top)

A7. We opened in ’89, and we have lived here since ’83.

 

Q8. Do you have TV in the rooms?  (top)

A8. No, we’re a traditional B&B; we do have radios in the rooms.

 

Q9. Do you allow kids or pets?  (top)

A9. Yes, we have the same policy for both. They must be quiet so as not to disturb the other guests and animals must be housebroken.

 

Q10. Can we bring wine?  (top)

A10. Yes, it is a dry area so its BYOB and if you forget the closest store is downtown Dallas.

 

Q11. Are there non-smoking rooms?  (top)

A11. The inn is a non-smoking inn.

 

Q12. What is the quietest room?  (top)

A12. All the rooms are separated by either closets, hallways or baths. Most guests may never see or hear another guest and even think they are the only guests.

 

Q13. How old is the house?  (top)

A13. It was built in 1887.

 

Q14. Do you give a discount if we book the whole house?  (top)

A14. Not on weekends; we give discounts only for Sunday-Thursday nights (Weekday Rates, Friday Special).

 

Q15. Can we have our wedding there?  (top)

A15. Yes, we do small weddings of 20 people or less. For larger weddings we suggest calling the Wyatt Mansion at 1-800-931-3390.  We would appreciate the opportunity to provide the rehearsal dinner or other functions associated with larger weddings or to provide lodging for your honeymoon and out-of-town guests.

 

Q16. What about other events or parties?  (top)

A16. We can accommodate groups up to 20 for sit down dinners, up to 50 people for parties with lighter fair, or up to 100 for come-‘n-go events.

 

Q17. Can we come just for breakfast?  (top)

A17. Yes, you will need to make a reservation but you can join the other overnight guests for breakfast. The cost is $7.50 per person (Break the Fast Menu).

 

Q18. Do you have any suggestions if the BonnyNook Inn is full?  (top)

A18. A couple of places we go to are the Texas White House in Fort Worth (ask for Jamie) The Fall Farm in Mineola (talk to Carol), The Rosevine Inn in Tyler (speak with Bert). These are all good choices.
